Useful tips and advice about making the most out of your bus charter trip in CA

Christmas Attractions in Southern California

Dec 12, 2013

Since California does not offer a winter wonderland experience with cold weaher and snow, there are still many things that California can offer to charter bus visitors that visit during the Christmas season. You can choose to enjoy these lovely events with your family, friends or even that special someone, and enjoy the magical moments Christmas has to offer.

Winter Wonderland in Sunny California

Still want to experience the winter wonderland anyway? Well, you can do so at Chill Ice Kingdom at the Queen Mary. Chill Ice Kingdom is actually a dome that is located right next to Queen Mary. At this ice kingdom, coach bus visitors can enjoy a myriad of beautifully carved ice sculptures and even a 24 foot replica of Queen Mary made entirely from ice! You can enjoy ice slides, as well as a walk through the magnificent ice castle, or you can head outside for some ice skating and tubing instead. A word of advice: bring along some warm clothing since it is about 7 degrees inside the ice kingdom.

Fancy some ice skating? Mini bus visitors can now do so right smack in the middle of Los Angeles at the Pershing Square. There is a large ice rink here where you can enjoy some ice skating in the middle of sunny California. There will also be Christmas concerts and events at this rink, and it only costs $6 an hour to skate, and another $2 to rent skates. A pretty good deal for some fun time with friends!

Magical Christmas Light to Enjoy

One of the most popular light show in Southern California is The Mission Inn. This is a premier Christmas light event where this top-notch hotel is completely covered in millions of Christmas lights which will definitely astound you in jaw-dropping delight. Together with this event is a unique event called The Festival of Lights, which is a magical time for couples, families and friends to enjoy as you walk through the brightly lit hotel and admire its decorations, not forgetting to take picture perfect moments as memories. At the outside of the hotel, mini bus visitors can take photos with jolly Santa, or enjoy some ice skating at the small skating ring available. There will also be lots of festive food to enjoy, and all these are offered to visitors for free.

If you are in Southern California between December 18 to 22, don’t miss out on the Newport Boat Parade where you can enjoy a four-day parade of million dollar yachts being decorated with amazing decorations and lights.
